Principal Program/Project Manager

Analog Devices’ Software and Digital Platforms (SDP) group is seeking an experienced Senior Program/Project Manager to oversee complex Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) software solutions for next generation products across multiple industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Enterprise AI programs and projects through the product development lifecycle.  In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects that meet business objectives and customer requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, AI/ML, engineering, or a technical field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years managing software projects for global teams, including experience with Enterprise AI projects, AI/ML products, or enterprise AI deployments.
  • Strong technical background with experience in software development processes, requirements management, and change management.
  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills coupled with strong execution track record working in large multi-discipline development teams spanning multiple time zones.
  • Proficient in program management tools (MS Project, Confluence, JIRA) for planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical and business information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data acquisition, model development, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of AI model performance metrics, retraining strategies, and challenges.
  • Proven ability to work with variety of disciplines such as AI researchers, data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of risks unique to AI software, and experience defining success criteria, validation processes, and ethical AI governance frameworks.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and drive aggressive schedules.
  • Positive attitude, proactive, self-motivated, and willing to accept responsibility.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe for Agile, AI/ML certifications (AWS/Azure ML, TensorFlow Developer, etc.)
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and managing customer expectations.
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks and cloud-based AI services.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive large-scale Enterprise AI software programs, adhering to scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Lead Agile project management processes, collaborating closely with software, 3rd parties contractors and internal teams to promote effective teamwork and ensure seamless integration of all components.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, driving effective solutions to address challenges before they impact project timelines or quality.
  • Define and drive the program roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle (PLC), schedules, and budgets.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to define use cases and translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Coordinate between data scientists, ML engineers, software developers, MLOps teams, and product managers.
  • Communicate project lifecycle insights to C-suite, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices and standardized processes to enhance project execution and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures, driving standard processes throughout project execution.
