What You Will Do:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to create precision components for aerospace and defense applications.

  • Utilize Mastercam and Siemens NX software to develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining operations.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to create accurate and efficient machining programs.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, ensuring product quality and adherence to tight tolerances.

  • Continuously improve machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.

  • Maintain and update tooling libraries and program databases.

  • Hands-on expertise in advanced CNC programming techniques for aerospace and defense components.

  • Best practices for utilizing Mastercam and NX software to streamline programming workflows.

  • Exposure to high-precision machining and optimization of complex aerospace components.

  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming using Mastercam and Siemens NX software.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming for multi-axis machines.
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and CAD drawings.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with high-speed machining techniques and advanced materials such as titanium, Inconel, and composites.

  • Knowledge of CAM software post-processing and machine simulation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
