The Policy Specialist serves as a detail-oriented and important member of the underwriting support staff.
This role ensures that all policy documents are accurately reviewed, processed, and uploaded into systems, allowing for a seamless process.
This role will work full time in our Red Bank, NJ office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with binding activities including endorsements, policies and cancelations.
- Follow up on required underwriting documents
- Support the renewal process and documents
- Ensuring a high level of efficiency and accuracy when issuing documents
- Focus on excellent customer service with agents, carriers, and other team members
- Supporting other partners, as necessary with training and questions
- Supporting additional projects as needed.
Requirements
- HS Diploma Required, bachelor's degree preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of administrative procedures, including managing files, records and processes
- Good knowledge and familiarity with MS Office and other related applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to prescribed routines and practices.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Maintain attention to detail
- Analytical skills, including ability to identify and report problems or errors while working with significant amounts of detailed information.
The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded.
