Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

  • Complete daily treatment documentation accurately and timely.

  • Implement physician-directed treatment plans and monitor resident progress.

  • Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.

  • Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as appropriate.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.

  • Report equipment concerns to ensure optimal safety and functionality.

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on maintenance programs and discharge recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
