Part Time Nanny– San Mateo, CA

A family in San Mateo, CA  94402 is seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver for their 5 month old, starting the end of July. Care is needed for an estimated 27 hours per week to start, and will transition to full time hours in December when parents return to work from parental leave. 

Schedule:

• Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting the end of July
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Transition to full-time hours in December

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Pet-free home
• Parents value open communication and building a long-term relationship with the right caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Feedings
• Diaper changes
• Nap support
• Support developmental activities appropriate for the baby's age and needs
• Light housekeeping related to baby care (laundry, bottles/dishes, tidying play areas)
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Prior childcare experience

Compensation:

• $33–$36 per hour (commensurate with experience)
