Our client is a digital marketing agency specializing in lead generation, search engine optimization (SEO), and AI-powered growth systems exclusively for home service contractors and trades.

Since 2017, they have helped businesses across industries such as roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and other home services generate more leads and grow their businesses through digital marketing.

About the Role

We are looking for a Paid Media Director with strong, current hands-on experience managing Meta Ads campaigns focused on lead generation.

This is a highly hands-on leadership position, with approximately 80% of the role focused on managing and optimizing existing client accounts. The remaining 20% will focus on helping build the agency’s paid media function, including supporting the hiring, onboarding, and coaching of future media buyers.

You will initially manage approximately 7 active paid media accounts, working directly in the ad accounts to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.

As the agency grows, you will help build the paid media team, including supporting the hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development of future media buyers. Previous people-management experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience managing or mentoring paid media specialists.

The ideal candidate is a senior paid media professional who can operate independently, take ownership of campaign performance, and eventually help establish and maintain high standards across the paid media team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Meta Ads campaigns across multiple client accounts, with a focus on lead generation.
• Monitor campaign performance and key metrics to identify issues and optimization opportunities.
• Analyze campaign data and independently diagnose underperforming campaigns.
• Optimize campaign structure, audiences, creative testing, budgets, and other performance variables.
• Manage and pace client advertising budgets responsibly.
• Monitor lead quality and campaign performance to help improve client results.
• Manage Google Local Services Ads accounts and monitor performance as needed.
• Follow and improve established paid media processes and standards.
• Support the hiring and onboarding of future paid media specialists.
• Coach and mentor new media buyers as the team grows.
• Review campaign work and provide feedback to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
• Communicate campaign performance and recommendations to clients when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve paid media strategies, processes, and results as the agency scales.

Requirements

• 5+ years of agency experience in paid media, managing multiple client accounts.
• Strong, current hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager.
• Ability to independently analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize lead generation campaigns.
• Strong understanding of paid media performance metrics and how to use them to drive better results.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and explaining campaign performance clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience managing, mentoring, or coaching paid media specialists.
• Experience hiring or helping build a paid media team.
• Experience with Google Ads and/or Google Local Services Ads.
• Experience working with home services clients, particularly roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, solar, landscaping, or similar industries.
• Experience with landing pages, lead forms, or qualification funnels.
• Familiarity with GoHighLevel or similar CRM platforms.
• Experience working with creative teams on ad concepts and creative testing.
• Experience using AI tools in daily paid media workflows.

Benefits

• Salary: Starting at USD 3,000/month, with flexibility to offer more for exceptional candidates.
• Payment: Twice a month.
• Work Schedule: Full-time remote position, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time.
