Overview:

Job Title: OSP/ISP Engineering Support 

Security Clearance: Secret

Location: Miroslawiec Air Base, Poland

(Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.)

 

Description:

C3EL is seeking a cleared professional to support the mission at Miroslawiec Air Base in Poland. The OSP/ISP Engineering Support will plan and prepare drawings for new, and removal or rearrangement of existing, overhead or underground lines, cables, and conduits to obtain optimum and economical utilization of communications facilities. 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Knowledge of the physical infrastructure of telcom networks to include cables, poles, and conduit. 
  • Experienced in design and engineering of OSP-ISP projects, including cable routing, site development, and construction. 
  • Experience with technical documentation, use of OSP-ISP designed software such as AutoCAD, Visio, etc.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance before the start date.
  • Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience installing outside and interior copper and fiber cabling, fiber optic modems, fiber multiplex equipment, fiber patch panels, analog and digital copper patch panels, main and intermediate distribution frames, lightning protection, and supporting ground and power connections.  
  • Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience installing of cabinets, cable ladder and rack systems, and equipment components in the cabinets.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a military environment. 
  • Must have one of following required certifications: BICSI or similar certification. 
  • Able to travel to support mission up to 50%. 
 

Education:

  • Associates degree in a Scientific Technical discipline, OR eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience.
