About this Oracle Integration Cloud Expert (OIC) role at Advansys
Requirement for a skilled developer proficient in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), PL/SQL, Java, Java Script, ODI, and API development to design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions and database applications.
Experience with NiFi is a plus, and familiarity with Oracle Retail systems will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL database packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Build and maintain integrations using OIC and ODI for seamless data flow across systems.
- Develop and manage REST/SOAP APIs to support application integration needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Implement data pipelines using Apache NiFi and Java Processors for ETL and data orchestration.
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability of database and integration components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle technologies , Cloud and integration tools.
Strong expertise in PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions) and Oracle Database.
- Hands-on experience with OIC, ODI, and Java-based API development.
- Proficiency in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Java with practical experience in modern frameworks such as Spring Boot and Quarkus for building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
- Proficient in version control systems such as Git and GitLab, with hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Working knowledge of message brokers such as ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ for building reliable asynchronous communication between systems.
- Solid understanding of integration techniques including error handling, message throttling, webhooks, and data enrichment to ensure robust and resilient integration flows.
