Job Description Summary

The Operations Manager assists the Physician Associate Studies Program Director with operational procedures, budget management, accreditation, student enrollment, recruitment, analytics, and other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Working collaboratively with program directors to manage course scheduling.
  • Coordinating with Miami University offices and external partners regarding contracts, budgets, student enrollment, and payments.
  • Supporting program directors in the hiring and processing of full-time and part-time faculty and staff.
  • Coordinating the application process and faculty review of graduate school applicants.
  • Providing advice, counsel, and information regarding admission, registration, or financial assistance to students.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and building reports on key metrics of success, including admission, graduation rates, publications, and engagement activities.
  • Supporting program directors in accreditation activities.
  • Supervising student workers and classified staff.
  • Building courses in Miami’s student management system and managing course enrollment.
  • Coordinating with external collaborators regarding the facilitation of in-person learning experiences.
  • Event planning for multiple events to include but not limited to: white coat ceremony, interview days, and graduation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience

Consideration may be given to candidates with:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with analyzing data
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Experience with students, higher education, or healthcare
