Summary:
As an Operations Engineer, a typical day involves supporting the ongoing operations and managing the delivery of production systems and services. This role requires ensuring that operational requirements and service agreements are consistently met, coordinating with various teams to maintain system stability, and addressing any issues that arise to minimize downtime. The position demands a proactive approach to monitoring system performance and collaborating with stakeholders to uphold service quality and reliability throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Disaster Recovery (DR) Coordination
Coordinate end-to-end Disaster Recovery exercises across global regions.
Facilitate DR planning, readiness reviews, prechecks validation, and execution activities.
Track DR action items, risks, dependencies, and remediation activities.
Coordinate with infrastructure, application, network, security, and cloud teams during DR exercises
Risk Register Governance
Manage and maintain Infrastructure Risk Registers
Track risk mitigation plans, remediation timelines, and ownership.
Conduct regular reviews with technology teams to ensure risk closure
Client Data Protection (CDP)
Monitor Client Data Protection controls and compliance requirements.
Track CDP action items, exceptions, and remediation plans.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely closure of compliance gaps.
EOL/EOS Governance
Review infrastructure assets approaching End-of-Life (EOL) or End-of-Support (EOS).
Track remediation plans, upgrade schedules, and risk acceptance requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Understanding of Information Security, Risk Management, or Infrastructure Operations.
Knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity concepts.
Experience in governance, reporting, and stakeholder management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple activities and work with global teams.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
