Y.L. Yang Foundation is seeking a proactive, organized, and partnership-oriented Officer/Senior Officer, Partnerships & Programs (3-month contract) to support the planning and delivery of ongoing and new Foundation projects.

The incumbent will take ownership of assigned projects from initial engagement with education partners—primarily secondary schools—as well as NGOs and community organizations, through proposal development, program planning, internal and site coordination, execution, and post-project follow-up. The role will serve as the main day-to-day contact for assigned partners and work closely with Foundation teammates and site colleagues to ensure a smooth, engaging, and high-quality guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned projects from initial partner discussion through planning, implementation, feedback collection, and project closure.
  • Communicate and build working relationships with secondary schools, NGOs, community organizations, and other external stakeholders.
  • Understand partner needs, audience profiles, and objectives, and recommend suitable Y.L. Yang Foundation offerings, program formats, and engagement activities.
  • Prepare and tailor presentation decks, program proposals, itineraries, project briefs, and partner-facing communications.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, work plans, program run-downs, and coordination checklists; follow up on tasks and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
  • Work closely with Foundation teammates, site colleagues, vendors, and program contributors to coordinate project information, logistics, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare clear handover information for site and execution teams, including program flow, guest details, key contacts, special arrangements, and operational notes.
  • Support or lead on-site delivery when required, including partner liaison, guest reception, program flow, and day-of coordination.
  • Collect feedback, prepare brief post-project recaps, and identify practical improvements for future programs.
  • Support approved event recaps, promotional content, social media posts, or website updates where required.
  • Provide support for other ad-hoc projects, events, and team tasks as assigned by Y.L. Yang Foundation.

Requirements

  • Around 3–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, program delivery, events, education programs, account servicing, partnership coordination, NGO/community engagement, or related fields.
  • Experience communicating with schools, educators, NGOs, community partners, clients, or other external stakeholders is preferred.
  • Strong organization, project follow-up, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several workstreams simultaneously.
  • Proficient in relevant digital tools for presentation preparation, project coordination, and stakeholder communication. Familiarity with the responsible use of AI-enabled tools to improve research, content development, workflow efficiency, or project delivery is an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and practical working style, with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Willingness and availability to travel to China as required.
