At Princess Polly, we're obsessed with bringing the latest trends to life across our global business. As our next Merchandise Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our Buying & Design teams to bring both new and existing product ranges to life from concept through to launch.

As part of our Merchandise team, you'll work alongside talented Buyers, Designers and Trend Leaders while being supported by an experienced leadership team that's invested in your development. You'll gain hands-on exposure to the entire buying cycle, strengthen your commercial acumen, and build a rewarding career within one of Australia's leading global fashion brands.
What you’ll be doing:
Support the buying & design teams throughout the product buying cycle
Create, maintain and update product information and Purchase Orders across multiple systems
Manage range plans, inventory logs and buy plans to ensure product data remains current.
Complete weekly sales reporting, stock analysis and category reporting to support trading decisions
Conduct competitor and trend analysis to help identify opportunities within your categories.
Work cross functionally to ensure products move seamlessly from concept to customer
Build strong relationships with suppliers and assist in resolving product, invoice and Purchase Order queries.
What success looks like:
Product and Purchase Order data is accurate and up to date.
Reports are delivered on time and provide valuable insights
Samples, inventory records and documentation are organised and easily accessible.
Cross-functional teams can rely on you to keep information flowing and projects on track.
You proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and support team efficiency.
We’re looking for someone who has:
1-2 years merchandise experience
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.
Experience using Style Arcade, Inventory Planner, and/or Shopify (highly regarded).
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new systems, tools, ai and technology.
An interest in fashion, trends and the product development process.
