About this MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN role at Aggreko
Bring your energy to Aggreko as Mechanical technician based in Guinea (Site Based ) .
You will be as Mechanical technician - Site Based in Guinea who operate, maintain and repair Aggreko Cummins DO and HFO power plant MAN 9L 21/31 engines as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards
What you’ll do as Mechanical technician:
To carry out mechanical equipment maintenance as per work instruction and OEM on Aggreko equipment
To assist on major mechanical maintenance (16K, 32K, 48K Service …).
To carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on Aggreko equipment
To complete and maintain paper/electronic records as per site specifics·
To carry out replacement, with or without assistance, of engine components on Aggreko generators.·
To complete investigation report and share with O&M supervisor.·
To identify and fix leaks on LFO (Light Fuel Oil) & HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil) pipework.·
Operate the inventory and maintenance management system (M3, MMS (Maintenance Management System), ATA (Aggreko Technician App) or equivalent).·
Adherence to 5S walk and Housekeeping
You are:
Be certified as LOTO after a 6-month grace period and maintain certification throughout employment·
Must successfully complete all assessments in compliance with mechanical technician intermediate level.·
The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislation·
Must be capable of working in a restricted space and at heights.·
Ability to work autonomously when required
