The Material Planner for Cytiva is responsible for ensuring BOM raw material readiness to support on-time delivery (OTD), improve quality-in-time (QIT) performance, and optimize inventory levels by reducing and preventing excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory. This includes managing raw material inventory at appropriate levels and maintaining accurate material master data in close collaboration with the engineering team.

This position is part of the Supply Chain department located in Beijing and will be an onsite position.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Analysis the material consumption history and forecast, design and monitor raw material inventory planning,  set up and adjust MRP parameter by quarter.
• Analysis and handle MRP information in SAP, raise related purchase requisition.
• Handle non-standard production raw material preparation with design engineer together.
• Reverse purchase requisition to purchase order, and release purchase order to vendors.
• Monitor raw materials on time delivery, and handle related payment program.
• Organize to complete KANBAN material implement.
• Trace material status and coordinate to handle material issue with related team.
• Constant monitor inventory status, analysis and handle E&O material, find the root cause and raise count measure, to improve QIT and ensure material supply timely.
• Raise more efficiency material management method.
• Work with other related team to complete company KPI.

The essential requirements of the job include:   

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PMC (Production & Material Control), Material Planning, Supply Planning, or Inventory Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in material requirement planning (MRP), demand-supply balancing, production support, and raw material readiness management.
• Solid understanding of import/export operations, customs clearance processes, international logistics, and material lead-time management.
• Proven experience managing suppliers and ensuring on-time material delivery to support production schedules and customer commitments.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
