Position Overview:
Responsible for packing finished product in boxes, loading boxes onto a pallet and moving the pallet to shipping.
What You’ll Do
As a Material Handler/Pack Line Operator, you’ll be part of our team located in Elyria, OH. You’ll get to:
Make boxes in which to package finished product.
Select the appropriate product to pack based on the information listed on the pan card.
Move the product from production into the hopper using a tow motor.
Pack the appropriate piece count into each box using the scale.
Label each box and send thru the tape machine. Slide taped box onto the pallet.
Information on the boxed product is entered into the kiosk which generates a move ticket.
Move ticket is put on the completed pallet which is moved to shipping using a tow motor.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
Prior Tow Motor and Forklifting experience preferred.
Detail oriented.
Basic computer skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand and walk for majority of an 8 to 10-hour day.
Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
Push or pull product up to 200 pounds.
Use hand tools up to 20 pounds over extended periods of time.
