Position Overview:

You will provide day-to-day leadership and supervision for a production area, supporting the achievement of productivity, quality, safety, and schedule attainment objectives. In this role, you will coordinate team activities, allocate work based on production demands, and ensure compliance with operational, environmental, and health and safety standards. You will work closely with production, engineering, maintenance, and other functional teams to address operational needs and drive continuous improvement. Work schedules may vary based on business and production requirements, including arriving early to support shift changeovers. This role offers the opportunity to lead manufacturing operations, influence process improvements, and make a direct impact on operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and support employees within the assigned production area to achieve operational objectives.

  • Plan, organize, and direct production and assembly activities to meet production schedules and delivery requirements.

  • Coordinate daily communication and workflow across teams, supervisors, and departments to ensure efficient operations.

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with quality, environmental, productivity, and health and safety standards.

  • Identify, implement, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

  • Prepare, maintain, and review production reports and records, taking corrective action when necessary.

  • Enforce company policies and procedures and address performance issues as appropriate.

  • Coordinate maintenance and engineering activities to support production requirements and equipment performance.

  • Analyze inventory levels and support inventory management activities.

  • Manage departmental spending in alignment with budget requirements.

  • Procure necessary materials and equipment to support production and assembly operations.

  • Monitor workplace organization and housekeeping standards and address safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical engineering discipline is desired.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-speed production manufacturing environment.

  • Experience leading or supervising production operations in a manufacturing setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives within a team environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Working knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
