Manufacturing Order Project Coordinator

Position Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to help manage configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role tracks orders through production and shipment while keeping internal teams aligned on schedules, requirements, and potential delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate orders from initial entry through shipment and final closeout.
- Review sales orders for configuration, accuracy, and completeness.
- Monitor key milestones, including materials, production, testing, and shipping.
- Keep order and project information current in ERP and project management systems.
- Work closely with production, supply chain, quality, engineering, and logistics teams.
- Provide customer updates and communicate schedule changes promptly.
- Identify orders at risk of delay and escalate issues before they affect delivery.
- Coordinate shipping requirements, documentation, and customer-specific needs.
- Prepare internal and customer-facing project status reports.
- Help improve order tracking, scheduling, and related operational processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems and project tracking tools.
- Strong organization and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
Preferred Experience
- Background in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order (MTO) processes.
- Experience with power distribution products or industrial equipment.
- Experience coordinating manufactured-product shipments and logistics.
- CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management certification.
