As a Manufacturing Services Engineer for Fan Blade Singapore Facility, you will provide support to the Manufacturing Services Leader to ensure that the organization’s goals are delivered. You will be responsible for coordinating, at plant and cell level, for the Manufacturing Services organization’s service lines. Your task is to ensure that all aspects of external Service Provider partnerships are delivered and monitored in line with business requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and support digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations.

  • Partner functional teams to identify opportunities for new processes and implementation of digital solutions – smart factory initiatives, process automation, data visualization dashboards etc.

  • Develop digital capabilities roadmaps in line with business strategic objectives.

  • Support both major transformational and continuous improvement projects with technical expertise.

  • Provide leadership with regards to vendor engagement to scope projects, evaluate proposals and review deliverables.

  • Provide on-going technical support for digital systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and know how to escalate incidents effectively in a timely manner.

  • Lead implementation of projects related to digital systems and manage collaboration with partners and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of those capabilities.

  • Be a catalyst for collaboration among IT partners to deliver an integrated service support ecosystem.
     

Qualifications

  • Possess a BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Industrial/Computer Engineering)

  • At least 1 years relevant experience in a manufacturing operation facility, automation.

  • Proven working experience maintaining & supporting digital manufacturing systems (MES, IoT platforms) in a manufacturing facility.

  • Hands-on with strong knowledge in project and business change management.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to understand stakeholder needs and work with cross functional teams.

  • Proficient in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL

  • Proficient with Microsoft Power Apps suite of applications

  • Familiar with automation technologies (robotics, sensors), connectivity standards (OPC UA, MQTT), IoT platforms and manufacturing execution systems such as OpCenter, Mendix, Thingworx

  • Familiar with automation technologies (robotics, sensors) can connectivity standards (OPC UA, MQTT)

  • Ability to deliver quality work in a fast-pace operational environment.

  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

  • Experience with Digital Twin, AI/ML, AR/ VR for manufacturing, front end interface development with Java will be a plus.
