Job Summary
Real Chemistry Germany is looking for a strong Associate Account Director to join our team, acting as the day-to-day account lead across accounts in medical affairs, marketing and comms. You will be managing client relationships, taking responsibility for the delivery of projects, and identifying areas for growth within your accounts.
We are an established global business with a new offering in the German market, so need someone who is confident, proactive, happy to work autonomously when needed but also as part of a growing global team, and happy to get stuck in!
For this role you will be working on global and local market accounts so we will require someone fluent in both German and English.
Job Responsibilities
- Acting as the lead on your assigned accounts
- Liaising with clients and acting as point of contact
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of your account including budgets, timelines and forecasting
- Working cross-functionally with creative, strategy, and content teams across Real Chemistry Germany but also the wider EMEA and Global teams
- Identifying areas for growth across your accounts and working with senior leadership to build on these areas
- Taking an active role in new business development, supporting the senior team with proposals and pitches
- Supporting the junior team, providing mentorship and guidance
Skills & Experience
- Already working as an Associate Account Director or at Senior Account Manager level
- Experience within a medical communications or health marketing agency
- Experience working with pharmaceutical clients
- Experience working across both local market (Germany and/or DACH) and Global accounts
- A fluent German and English speaker
- Proactive, driven, and resourceful
- Highly organised self-starter, able to work independently but also across a global team
- You have excellent business communication abilities, including informal/formal presentation and writing skills
