Job Summary
• This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the underlying data and the consistent delivery of its products and services to internal and external customers. The role leads a team of data engineers in the Data Retention & DRONE team within the Customer Data, Retention and Data Privacy organization. The Data engineering team focuses on extracting data for analysis and interpretation by other program teams including ad hoc analysis for customers and internal departments. The role serves as a consultant to other analytics functional areas to review, analyze and validate data to ensure accurate and structured data is provided that can be used to create dashboards, reports for making business decisions.

Responsibilities
• Develops project deliverables including a project plan, resource plan, communication plan, and project charter.
• Provides data support for analytics product development and projects including data mining, statistical analysis and reporting.
• Serves as a consultant to external customers or internal cross-functional teams to document/review, analyze and validate data used for both internal and external informatics projects.
• Creates appropriate project concept documents, including data selection criteria, aggregation requirements, measurement definitions and appropriate analyses based on customer business requirements.
• Participates in process analysis, team building, leading and motivating, performance management and conflict management activities.
• Manages the work, sets priorities and conveys the appropriate sense of urgency and executes strategic/tactical plans efficiently and effectively.
• Develops knowledge base to support strategic initiatives post close out.
• Develops robust business cases to support and prioritize opportunities.
• Effectively communicates clear and concise recommendations regarding data engineering solutions to leadership and other teams' end users.
• Provides leadership experience in planning and executing a portfolio of initiatives that build analytics capabilities to serve organizational strategic goals.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Statistics/ Mathematics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in data analytics, data engineering, data modeling, or a related field.
