Position Summary

• Process incoming mail as received.
• Prepare and sort documents by document type.
• Scan incoming document batches and move to a final staging folder.
• Print outgoing mail items, as needed, using production printers and postage equipment.
• Manually sort and post outgoing mail with strict attention-to-detail, specifically to ensure no PHI (Protected Health Information) violation occurs.
• Sort documents using Kofax system.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service and/or data entry role.
• Demonstrated proficiency with basic computer systems.
• Must reside within a commutable distance to East Lansing, MI.
• Willingness to be fully on-site (5 days per week) in the East Lansing, MI office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Team-oriented, with a strong collaborative nature.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work successfully in an independent capacity.
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
• 1+ years of experience in a mailroom setting.
• 1+ years of experience in health insurance.
• Previous experience handling sensitive information, specifically related to health insurance.
• Previous experience with Kofax system.

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $31.30

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
