Position Title: Logistics Support Intern

Location: ESAB Mississauga


WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assist with inventory monitoring, forecasting, and replenishment activities.

• Support procurement and purchasing processes, including purchase order tracking.

• Analyze supply chain data and prepare reports on key performance metrics.

• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely

delivery of materials and products.

• Help maintain accurate inventory records and master data.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation efforts.

• Participate in supply chain projects related to cost reduction, service improvement, and

operational efficiency.

• Assist with demand planning and production scheduling activities as required.


WHO YOU ARE

• Proactive self-starter comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative team

environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with pivot tables.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple instructions; ability to respond/ react effectively.

• Strong communication skills, comfortable discussing and demonstrating product capabilities in

small group setting.

• Demonstrates attentiveness, responsiveness, and an appropriate sense of urgency.

• Have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Logistics,

Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI, ERP systems, or data analysis tools is

an asset.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
