Are you a passionate health science educator who enjoys helping students build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for successful careers?
As a Learning Facilitator, you’ll prepare, deliver and assess subjects across a range of learning environments, including on campus and online. You’ll work with academic colleagues and program leaders to create engaging learning experiences, support student progress and ensure assessment and academic processes are delivered to a high standard.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a student-centred academic environment through innovative teaching, timely feedback, course review and quality improvement. Depending on program needs and your expertise, you may also contribute to subject or program coordination, specialist academic projects, industry engagement, research, mentoring or other academic leadership activities.

What You'll Do
You’ll create inclusive, engaging learning experiences and help students achieve their learning outcomes throughout the study period.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver lectures, seminars, forums, workshops, practical sessions and tutorials using innovative teaching and learning practices
Prepare, review and update subject materials in response to program requirements and quality measures
Develop, review, set and mark assessments and examination papers as required
Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback that supports learning and improvement
Apply academic policies and processes, determine final results and submit outcomes by required deadlines
Participate in validation, moderation, course review and assessment review activities
Identify students who may be at risk and make appropriate referrals to academic, language, wellbeing and student-success support services
Monitor and record student attendance and participation as required
Understand how allocated subjects fit within the broader course architecture and contribute to continuous improvement
Contribute to agreed academic, professional practice, research, mentoring, coordination or specialist project responsibilities
Skills & Experience
Must Have
Relevant qualifications and/or professional expertise in Health Science or a related discipline
Experience teaching or facilitating learning in higher education, vocational education or a relevant professional setting
Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver engaging learning activities across face-to-face and online environments
Experience designing, marking or reviewing assessments and providing high-quality student feedback
Strong understanding of academic integrity, assessment processes, moderation and quality assurance
Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills, with a student-centred approach
Ability to identify student support needs, make appropriate referrals and work collaboratively with academic and professional teams
Nice to Have
Experience in subject or program coordination, course review or academic quality improvement
Industry or professional practice engagement relevant to Health Science
Experience mentoring academic staff or leading specialist academic projects
Research experience or an interest in contributing to scholarship and research activities
