Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Czech speaking Lean / Kaizen Coordinator who drives operational excellence by analyzing processes, eliminating waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement (with internal tool Flight Deck).

They facilitate workshops, coach employees, and implement Lean and 5S methodologies across organizational workflows.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Event Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Kaizen workshops, Gemba walks, rapid improvement events, and other targeted continuous improvement activities at site level. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, drive engagement, and ensure actions are translated into measurable operational results.

  • Waste Reduction: Analyze current-state processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, non-value-added activities, and operational bottlenecks. Use Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other lean tools to establish baseline performance, prioritize opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions that improve flow, reduce cycle time, and eliminate waste.

  • Standardization: Develop, implement, and sustain standardized work practices across operations to improve consistency, quality, and productivity. Establish and maintain 5S standards, conduct regular 5S audits, and drive accountability for workplace organization and visual management disciplines.

  • KPI Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost/Productivity (SQDC). Use data-driven insights to track progress against targets, identify trends and gaps, and support leadership in prioritizing continuous improvement actions.

  • Training & Culture: Coach leaders, supervisors, and frontline team members in lean principles, problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement methods. Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence by building internal capability and developing teams into self-sustaining continuous improvement champions.

Hard Skills

  • Strong command of continuous improvement methodologies and tools, including DMAIC, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, standard work, and 5S.
  • Ability to analyze operational data, identify performance gaps, and translate findings into actionable improvement plans.
  • Experience facilitating structured problem-solving and process improvement initiatives in manufacturing, operations, or service environments.
  • Czech and English speaking

Soft Skills

  • Change management: Ability to influence adoption of new ways of working and drive sustainable behavioral change across teams.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across functions, levels, and teams to align priorities and execute improvement initiatives.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, present insights, and engage stakeholders from shop floor to leadership.
