The job involves:
- Washing dishes, glassware, silverware, and pots ensuring that all are sanitized as per proper sanitation procedures
- Deep cleaning all kitchen areas including floors, walls, shelves, hoods, broilers and ovens
- Collecting and removing waste from all kitchen and restaurant outlets and assisting with the transporting of items between locations
- Standing for long periods of time; lifting, pushing and pulling up to 60lbs
- Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels
- Working safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
- Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
- Minimum 6-12 months experience in a high volume food outlet
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- The ability to successfully pass a pre placement medical and physical assessment
