Circle K Business Centre is looking for a new colleague to join our team as:

Junior Distribution Compliance Officer

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

THE ROLE

We are expanding the Global Fuels Distribution Compliance Team and are looking to hire a Junior Distribution Compliance Officer. This role will focus on conducting compliance checks, performing quality reviews, and supporting the consistent application of compliance requirements across our global fuel distribution operations. The Junior Distribution Compliance Officer will work closely with key stakeholders to monitor adherence to internal standards, identify areas for improvement, and help ensure that processes are applied clearly, consistently, and efficiently across regions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Monitor processes within Global Fuels Department to ensure that established standards and management requirements are met.

• Perform quality checks by analyzing large data sets to identify performance gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

• Support internal audits, inspections, and compliance reviews by preparing metric analyses, reports and supporting evidence.

• Report any instances of non-compliance or significant issues to the direct manager and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent and compliant procedures.

• Support and participate in internal projects upon management request.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field will be considered an advantage.

• Interest in Logistics, Compliance, Internal audits and Quality Control.

• Good attention to detail and analytical mindset.

• Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in Logistics and Compliance.

• Fluency in English (verbal and written) to communicate with colleagues in Europe and America.

• Good knowledge of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team.
