The Bradley School is a licensed private academy educating students who present with special education needs. These students may have learning, emotional and/or behavioral challenges and struggle to succeed in a traditional classroom setting. We are looking for a Job Coach who is motivated, compassionate and has a calling and passion for helping children. We are looking for someone with initiative, creativity and a desire to have a positive impact on a child’s life.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support and supervision to students at job training, internship, or community based vocational sites
  • Teach and model appropriate workplace behaviors, communication skills, and job-specific tasks
  • Assist students in developing independence, self-advocacy, and problem-solving skills in the workplace
  • Collaborate with employers, site supervisors, and school staff to ensure job placements align with student goals and abilities
  • Monitor student performance, collect data, and document progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) and transition goals
  • Adapt tasks or environments as needed to accommodate student strengths and needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation, or related field required
  • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in vocational, educational, or therapeutic settings preferred
  • Experience supporting job training, community-based instruction, or employment services preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
