THE WORK:

• Develop and maintain backend components of Retail applications (i.e. Oracle Xstore POS) using Java, working within an established codebase and coding standards.

• Participate in the configuration, customization, and integration of Retail applications (i.e. Oracle Xstore) as part of a client-facing POS implementation.

• Create and maintain technical documentation- including configuration guides, data flow descriptions, and integration specs - following project and Accenture standards.

• Work with senior consultants, functional leads, and client technical teams to clarify requirements and build delivery skills.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, initially Monday to Friday.

• Active student status (IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field).

• Practical knowledge of Java (core Java SE; familiarity with Spring or Java EE is a plus).

• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle DB preferred).

• Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line operations.

• Detail-oriented and self-organized, capable of tracking open tasks, defects, and configuration items across workstreams.

• Strong desire to learn retail technology and enterprise POS systems in a consulting delivery context.

• Good communication skills in English and Polish (written and oral) and good interpersonal skills.
