Pay Range: $18.45-$19.00 per hour
Position Summary
Canyon Springs Post-Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Janitor to join our team. The Janitor is responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This position plays an important role in supporting the comfort, health, and well-being of those in our care.
Essential Responsibilities
Help keep the facility clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Clean common areas, hallways, restrooms, resident rooms, and other designated spaces.
Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash throughout the facility.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks as assigned.
Maintain outdoor areas, including walkways and entrances.
Replace light bulbs and assist with minor facility upkeep.
Respond to cleaning and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Keep cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment organized and stocked.
Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment concerns to your supervisor.
Work cooperatively with staff to support a comfortable environment for residents.
Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous janitorial, housekeeping, maintenance, or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
