Who We’re Looking For

• Education: Applicants should be current or final-year students pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology, Mechatronic Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Manufacturing Electronics Engineering, Software Informatics Engineering, Information Technologies, Managerial Accounting, or International Trade/Logistics.

• Academic Performance: Minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00.

• Skills:

  • Hands-on problem solvers

  • Good communicators who can articulate complex ideas

  • Go-getters willing to get involved and take the initiative

  • Innovators with a passion for new ideas and continuous improvement

• Language: Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Availability: Candidates should be able to commit to a full-time internship for a duration of 12 months.

Terms and Conditions

• Duration: 12 months (starting September 2026)

• Location: PT Caterpillar Indonesia Batam

• Internship Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.00 AM – 3.45 PM & Friday 7.00 AM to 4.30 PM

• Conduct: Interns are expected to uphold Caterpillar’s Code of Conduct and comply with all applicable safety policies and procedures.
