We are seeking a skilled Installation & Infrastructure Engineer to deploy, configure, maintain, and support the infrastructure required for our technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in infrastructure, systems administration, technical deployments, or a related engineering role.

This position requires a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with servers, networks, operating systems, databases, and cloud or on-premises environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, operations, support, and customer-facing teams to ensure that installations are completed securely, reliably, and according to technical requirements.

The role may require participation in scheduled deployments, maintenance activities, and technical support outside regular business hours.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, application deployment, technical implementation, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience administering Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, ports, and routing.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise software applications.
  • Familiarity with web servers and reverse proxies such as IIS, Apache, or Nginx.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and services in Azure, AWS, or another major cloud platform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery practices.
  • Understanding of information security principles, system hardening, access management, and certificate administration.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple installations, incidents, and technical priorities.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level; C1 preferred.
  • Availability to participate in scheduled deployments, maintenance windows, or on-call support when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and document the installation and configuration of software solutions and supporting infrastructure.
  • Deploy applications and services across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows- and Linux-based servers.
  • Configure and validate network connectivity, firewall rules, DNS settings, certificates, ports, and related infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, migrations, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and security.
  • Diagnose and resolve installation, infrastructure, application, and connectivity issues.
  • Configure and support web servers, application servers, databases, and other platform dependencies.
  • Automate repetitive installation, configuration, and deployment tasks whenever possible.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, including installation procedures, infrastructure diagrams, configuration records, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Follow security, access control, change management, and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Support incident investigation and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related failures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors during implementations and technical escalations.
  • Provide post-installation validation and ensure that deployed solutions meet functional and operational requirements.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation or scheduled maintenance windows when required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with observability platforms and centralized logging solutions.
  • Experience with high-availability, load-balancing, and disaster recovery configurations.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and formal change or incident management processes.
  • Experience deploying solutions in customer-managed or regulated environments.
  • Relevant certifications from Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Linux, VMware, or equivalent providers.
