What you'll do

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll take the lead on designing intuitive, self-service database products that make all the difference to our customers, as well as our strategic targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a highly innovative and supportive environment.

You’ll collaborate with product owners to create roadmaps and manage the lifecycle, taking customer feedback, new feature requests and production issues into consideration. As you continue to manage the selection, creation and maintenance of database-related technologies, you’ll ensure that our solutions comply with the bank’s requirements and responsibilities.

You’ll also:

  • Identify new ways to solve problems and enhance performance using tech tools
  • Provide operational support for pattern or product-related issues, and contribute to the delivery of infrastructure as code solutions
  • Build awareness of design-thinking tools and techniques across the bank to improve products
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure that we continue to deliver the best possible service
     

The skills you'll need

To thrive in this role, you’ll have experience in software development or automation scripting, such as Python or Shell. You’ll be knowledgeable about the software development lifecycle, with experience of utilising modern infrastructure as code via tooling.

We’ll expect you to bring a good understanding of Agile working practices and toolsets, with the ability to create the vision for the Release Train, feature team, platform and domain.

In addition, you’ll have:
 

  • Strong experience with Cisco ISE, TACACS+, RADIUS, and 802.1X authentication
  • Expertise in integrating Cisco ISE with Active Directory, PKI, certificates, and MFA solutions
  • Hands-on experience in wired/wireless authentication, RBAC, and network access security
  • Ability to troubleshoot authentication, authorization, onboarding, and TACACS+/RADIUS issues
  • Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, HTTP) and security technologies
  • Experience with Cisco & Arista networking, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
