The Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Gurugram is ERM’s global operating backbone. It delivers business enablement services in Finance, HR, IT, and Commercial Operations to ensure ERM’s global business runs seamlessly, efficiently, and consistently.

At the GDC, you will:

  • Be part of a hub that ensures ERM’s business continuity worldwide.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across geographies to support global operations.

  • Drive consistency, compliance, and efficiency in core functions.

  • Work with digital, automation, and AI-enabled tools to optimise how ERM operates.

  • Work in shifts where required, depending on the role. As processes mature and automation increases, reliance on shifts will reduce.

Why this role matters?

As an Infrastructure Design Lead, you will support ERM’s global delivery by delivering the infrastructure architecture that supports the company’s global technology environment. You will work within Technical Team partnering with Global Stakeholders to ensure the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure while driving innovation and alignment with business objectives.

What your impact will be?

  • Drive the design and evolution of secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure solutions.

  • Lead cloud and network transformation initiatives across hybrid environments.

  • Establish infrastructure standards, governance, and best practices.

  • Mentor Infrastructure and DevOps teams while promoting automation and IaC adoption.

  • Ensure infrastructure aligns with business objectives, security requirements, and enterprise architecture.

What will you bring?

  • Expert-level certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP

  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies (CCNP/CCIE, F5, Checkpoint, Meraki, Zscaler)

  • Experience designing complex enterprise infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments

  • Expertise in Active Directory, Entra ID, IAM, security architecture, routing, switching, and load balancing

  • Experience with Azure/AWS networking, SD-WAN, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN/VPC

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and automation using PowerShell, Python, JSON, YAML

  • Exposure to CI/CD, containers, cloud governance, and security services

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

  • Experience leading technical teams and driving continuous improvement

  • 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience and 5+ years in cloud network deployments

Preferred qualifications, skills & competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or in a related field or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge. Industry Certifications is an advantage.

  • 10+ years in Enterprise Infrastructure Management in large organizations for hybrid cloud

  • 5+ years in deploying and/or onboarding networks in Cloud, software defined networks and complex routing environments

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing infrastructure and DevOps team

  • Design and govern hybrid cloud infrastructure and enterprise networking solutions

  • Review and approve infrastructure designs, standards, and architecture frameworks

  • Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption and service automation

  • Champion cloud-based PaaS and IaaS solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP

  • Ensure infrastructure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards

  • Support troubleshooting of critical infrastructure and network issues

  • Collaborate with architecture and operational teams to improve service reliability and performance

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure strategies, standards, and governance frameworks

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and modern infrastructure transformation programs.
