Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide L1–L2 technical support for infrastructure, systems, and applications in production and development environments, both remotely and onsite, following defined operating models and processes. Act as the primary interface with users/clients to accurately diagnose issues and deliver effective resolutions across infrastructure, operating systems, networks, and application platforms, ensuring service stability and quality support.

Summary:
As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, a typical day involves delivering continuous technical assistance and upkeep for both production and development environments. This role requires managing and supporting various systems and software products across multiple platforms, ensuring smooth operation within established processes. The practitioner addresses hardware and software issues, implements technology solutions at the operating system level, and performs troubleshooting activities ranging from basic to intermediate complexity. Work is conducted both remotely and onsite, supporting configured services and maintaining system reliability and performance throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
- Document technical procedures and solutions to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux Architecture.
- Strong understanding of operating system concepts and server management.
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues at various levels.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Ability to work with network configurations and understand their impact on system operations.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
- This position is based at our PDC3B - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
