Roles & Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, automation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of test benches, equipment, and robots within the Maintenance and Production Workshop.

You will lead root cause analyses of bench and equipment failures, identify and implement corrective and preventive actions, and drive initiatives to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

You will also be responsible for establishing the necessary equipment, tools, and resources for new repair and production lines. This includes working closely with the Central Engineering team to define technical requirements and participate in technical discussions. You will liaise with suppliers and oversee equipment realization, delivery, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Equipment Engineering, preferably within a high-technology manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in new equipment/bench setup, installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Project Management experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, tool/bench drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and industrial communication issues.
  • Knowledge of RF or Test Software Engineering, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and the implementation and use of Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R) for equipment performance monitoring and trending is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment and tooling installation, commissioning, and qualification.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to lead, recommend, and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high levels of quality, reliability, and consistency.
  • Comfortable working in system- and software-integrated test bench environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and work with new and diverse technologies.
  • Willing and able to work on shifts as required.
