About this Industrial Inventory Manager role at Phillips Corporation
Are you ready to revolutionize supply chain logistics and serve as the critical catalyst for national defense readiness? As the Inventory Manager for Phillips Federal's Emergency Maintenance Equipment Support program at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD), you will be the driving force behind mission-critical repair operations. This is not just a parts management role; it is an opportunity to lead a breakthrough in operational agility by owning the entire material-support lifecycle—from complex parts identification to final work-order closeout. By taking decisive ownership of sourcing, pricing, and purchasing coordination, you will ensure our technical teams have the exact components, tools, and consumables required to execute safe, rapid, and flawless equipment repairs, directly impacting the readiness of vital manufacturing infrastructure.
In this high-impact position, you will act as a strategic problem-solver who bridges technical expertise with supply chain excellence. You will dive deep into equipment records, intricate schematics, and OEM documentation to verify exact specifications, even for highly complex or legacy machinery. By proactively preparing comprehensive material quotations, optimizing purchasing workflows, and aggressively expediting critical shipments, you will eliminate friction, conquer material delays, and accelerate return-to-service metrics. Your rigorous oversight of receipt, inspection, staging, and returns will transform standard inventory tracking into a high-performance engine, ensuring total accountability for every specialized tool, consumable, and critical spare part that enters the facility.
Beyond immediate operational demands, you will be the visionary architect of our long-term supply network, forging ironclad partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers, authorized distributors, and specialized legacy-equipment sources. Your ability to anticipate supply-chain bottlenecks, identify single-source risks, and engineer innovative stocking strategies for long-lead and obsolete components will continuously elevate our program's resilience. By maintaining uncompromising standards for OEM quality, contract compliance, and strict site safety, and by providing transparent, real-time material intelligence to project leadership, you will safeguard the entire maintenance mission. If you are driven to master complex logistics, outpace supply chain challenges, and fuel the future of military readiness, we invite you to build a breakthrough career with us.
