We are seeking an experiencedย Image Sensor Integration & Validation Engineerย to drive the integration, validation, and verification of next-generation imaging systems for advanced embedded and automotive platforms. This role is ideal for engineers with strong expertise in image sensor technologies, secure communication protocols, automation frameworks, and hardware-software debugging who are passionate about building reliable, high-performance imaging solutions.
As an Image Sensor Integration & Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating image sensors, implementing secure interfaces, validating system performance, and developing automation frameworks that improve testing efficiency and quality. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, driver, and validation teams while ensuring compliance with industry-standard development and quality processes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration and validation of image sensors across embedded and automotive imaging platforms.
- Implement and verify secure communication protocols such asย Secure MIPIย andย SPDMย to enable secure authentication and protected data transmission.
- Develop automation frameworks and scripting solutions usingย Pythonย to streamline validation, testing, and data analysis activities.
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans to validate sensor functionality, performance, and system-level integration.
- Ensure traceability, documentation, and validation activities comply withย ASPICEย development and quality standards.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to resolve integration challenges and improve system reliability.
- Perform deep hardware-software debugging using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Support validation and debugging of device drivers, ISP pipelines, and imaging subsystems.
- Analyze protocol, interface, and signal integrity issues across image sensor communication channels.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in automation, validation methodologies, and engineering processes.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 4+ years of experience inย Embedded Systems, Semiconductor Validation, Automotive Imaging, or Sensor Integration.
- Strong hands-on expertise inย Image Sensor Integration, Validation, and Debugging.
- Deep knowledge ofย Secure MIPI,ย SPDM, and secure device communication protocols.
- Advanced proficiency inย Pythonย for automation, scripting, data analysis, and framework development.
- Strong programming skills inย C/C++ย for low-level software implementation and debugging.
- Experience working withinย ASPICE-compliant development environmentsย with a strong understanding of traceability and verification processes.
- Good understanding ofย ISP pipelines, imaging architectures, and device drivers.
- Experience with hardware debugging tools such asย Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Protocol Analyzers.
- Familiarity withย Linux, Android, RTL, FPGA, or HAPS-based FPGA validationย is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a passion for delivering robust and high-quality imaging systems.
