YOUR MISSION

HUMAN RESOURCES PARTNER

We’re looking for an experienced HR Partner to join PUMA and play a key role in shaping our people agenda across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a diverse role combining Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partnering, partnering closely with leaders across our Corporate and Retail businesses. You’ll bring a proactive, commercial and people-focused approach to attracting great talent, and supporting leaders to build high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with leaders to understand current and future talent needs across our Corporate and Retail businesses.

  • Develop creative and effective sourcing strategies and build strong talent pipelines.

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, from role briefing and sourcing through to selection, and offers.

  • Deliver a positive, engaging and consistent candidate experience.

HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, engagement, retention, team effectiveness and future capability.

  • Coach and support managers across leadership, performance, employee experience and people-related decisions.

  • Support key employee lifecycle moments including onboarding, internal movements, career development and offboarding.

  • Support performance management, succession planning, talent development and internal career opportunities.

  • Provide practical and commercially sound advice on employee relations, performance, conflict and disciplinary matters.

  • Support investigations and ensure people decisions are fair, consistent and aligned with legislation and PUMA policies.

  • Ensure accurate HR administration, data, reporting and employment documentation.

  • Support workers’ compensation, return-to-work and WH&S activities.

YOUR TALENT

Education

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline preferred.

About You

  • 3 – 4 years Talent Acquisition and HR experience, with strong end-to-end recruitment expertise.

  • Experience in retail, fashion, consumer, hospitality or another high-volume, customer-focused environment.

  • Proven experience partnering with and coaching managers and business leaders.

  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment practices and employee relations.

  • Commercial, proactive and solutions-focused, with strong influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Highly organised and adaptable, with strong HR systems and people data capability and the ability to manage competing priorities.
