We are looking for a confident, experienced, and highly organised Human Resources Manager to independently manage the day-to-day HR function across the employee lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll and timekeeping, compliance, disciplinary processes, and terminations. This role requires someone who is proactive, discreet, dependable, and comfortable handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and sound judgment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong HR professional who can work independently, take ownership of HR processes, and confidently hold employees accountable when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process, including posting vacancies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring decisions.
• Oversee employee onboarding and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Manage employee relations matters professionally, fairly, and confidentially.
• Handle employee concerns and sensitive workplace matters with discretion and sound judgment.
• Manage payroll and timekeeping processes and coordinate with relevant payroll systems.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Support and manage compliance with employment policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Handle disciplinary processes, performance concerns, and employee terminations professionally and appropriately.
• Coordinate background checks and ensure all required pre-employment processes are completed.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain employment-related documentation and agreements.
• Ensure confidentiality is maintained when handling sensitive employee and company information.
• Support employees and managers while maintaining appropriate accountability and professional boundaries.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and take a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of HR experience covering recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll/timekeeping, compliance, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Experience independently managing multiple HR responsibilities across the employee lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employee documentation, and workplace compliance.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and job boards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Excel, and communication tools.
• Experience using payroll and timekeeping systems.
• Experience using scheduling and calendar management tools.
• Experience with background-check platforms.
• Experience using DocuSign or similar e-signature software.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm and professional when dealing with sensitive or challenging employee matters.
