With these developments, the need for actionable workforce insights from our People Analytics expertise team is also rapidly growing. Therefore, we are expanding our team and are looking for an energetic and hands-on Medior HR Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in translating complex people data into actionable insights that enhance organizational effectiveness and support our HR and business leaders in navigating this evolving landscape.

Roles and responsibilities

As a member of the People Analytics Products & Operations team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to transforming people data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, you will assist in shaping the future of our workforce. Your main responsibilities as a Medior HR Data Analyst will include:

  • Understanding business questions and challenges and translating them into reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Compiling data from multiple platforms and systems.
  • Data preparation and data engineering.
  • Analyzing HR data and helping management make decisions based on this data.
  • Maintaining, enhancing, and expanding existing reports and dashboards in cooperation with IT and HR line.
  • Subject Matter Expert for HR data integrations towards our corporate data warehouse (HANA Cloud), acting as the bridge between functional and IT requirements.
  • Responsible for statutory (i.e. CSRD) reporting for employee related metrics.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of work experience.
  • Experience with Excel and/or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with (HR) Reporting & Analytics, experience with Workday or Visier is a plus.
  • Experience in a complex, international environment is a plus.

  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver findings clearly and persuasively to senior business and HR leadership.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy protection laws and AI regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act) and the ability to translate these implications into our People Analytics roadmap.
  • Alignment with ASML’s core values: care, collaborate, and challenge, demonstrating a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • A collaborative team player who effectively engages and manages stakeholders and colleagues while taking a hands-on approach and demonstrating ownership and accountability.
