Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Maersk's physical and digital archives, covering historical records, photographs, publications, and artefacts dating back to the company's origins.
• Maintain archival governance, information architecture, metadata standards, retention policies, classification frameworks, and quality controls to ensure reliable and compliant management of historical information.
• Lead and support the implementation, migration, and continuous improvement of archive and records management systems, including data mapping, data cleansing, metadata enrichment, taxonomy development, and validation of migrated content.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives within archives and heritage management, evaluating and adopting new technologies that improve discoverability, scalability, preservation, and user experience.
• Explore and apply AI-enabled solutions to improve knowledge retrieval, semantic search, content discovery, metadata generation, and access to trusted historical information across the organization.
• Conduct historical research and act as a trusted advisor on Maersk's history, supporting communications, branding, media engagement, customer activities, internal communications, legal requests, and strategic projects.
• Develop and advise on heritage-based storytelling that strengthens brand reputation, reinforces strategic messages, and connects Maersk's history with its future ambitions.
• Support stakeholders across communications, branding, legal, HR, and business functions through archival research, records retrieval, knowledge management, and consultancy services.
