The Head O2C & TCM – GCC is responsible for leading end-to-end Order to Cash and Treasury & Cash Management service delivery across the Global Capability Centre, ensuring accurate, timely, compliant, and customer-focused operations across countries and regions in scope.
The role owns global O2C and TCM delivery across cash application, collections, credit, reporting, deductions, receivables management, payments, cash forecasting, cash accounting, liquidity support, bank administration, treasury controls, and related month-end close activities. The role is accountable for driving operational excellence, governance, compliance, transformation, automation, stakeholder partnership, and scalable service delivery across the O2C and TCM organisation.
The role also plays a key leadership role in transitions, Centre of Excellence development, process standardisation, risk management, audit readiness, and capability building across the GCC.

Job Description

Position Purpose:

The Head O2C & TCM – GCC is responsible for leading end-to-end Order to Cash and Treasury & Cash Management service delivery across the Global Capability Centre, ensuring accurate, timely, compliant, and customer-focused operations across countries and regions in scope.

The role owns global O2C and TCM delivery across cash application, collections, credit, reporting, deductions, receivables management, payments, cash forecasting, cash accounting, liquidity support, bank administration, treasury controls, and related month-end close activities. The role is accountable for driving operational excellence, governance, compliance, transformation, automation, stakeholder partnership, and scalable service delivery across the O2C and TCM organisation.

The role also plays a key leadership role in transitions, Centre of Excellence development, process standardisation, risk management, audit readiness, and capability building across the GCC.

Your Key Responsibilities: 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. O2C & TCM Service Delivery Leadership

  • Own and oversee global O2C and TCM delivery across cash, payments, forecasting, treasury operations, collections, credit, reporting, reconciliations, factoring, deductions, disputes, and month-end close activities.
  • Ensure all operational deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in line with defined service levels, controls, SOPs, and business requirements.
  • Provide strategic and operational direction to O2C and TCM process leads, managers, and teams across the GCC.
  • Ensure consistent delivery quality across countries, entities, and process towers.
  • Monitor key operational metrics, dashboards, ageing, cash flow, payment execution, open items, reconciliations, and exception cases.
  • Drive structured governance around issue resolution, escalation management, risk mitigation, and service delivery performance.

2. Treasury & Cash Management Oversight

  • Lead GCC TCM operations covering payments, cash forecasting, cash accounting, bank administration, liquidity support, intercompany netting, loan management, cash pool activities, and treasury-related reporting.
  • Ensure payment processes are executed accurately, securely, and in compliance with internal policies and control requirements.
  • Oversee cash forecasting and liquidity management support to enable effective working capital and funding decisions.
  • Ensure timely completion of bank reconciliations, payment controls, e-banking access reviews, bank signatory reviews, and manual payment governance.
  • Partner with Group Treasury, Country FRA, CFO teams, and business stakeholders to address treasury operational requirements.
  • Ensure TCM teams maintain strong documentation, process discipline, and audit readiness.

3. Order to Cash Oversight

  • Lead O2C operations across cash application, collections support, deductions and disputes, credit support, AR reporting, receivables reconciliations, factoring support, and month-end close support.
  • Drive timely resolution of unapplied cash, unidentified cash, missing remittances, aged receivables, customer disputes, refunds, credit issues, and exception items.
  • Ensure AR reports, ageing analysis, credit insights, reconciliations, and operational dashboards are accurate, complete, and delivered within timelines.
  • Support effective cash flow and receivables management through disciplined follow-up, stakeholder collaboration, and performance tracking.
  • Strengthen O2C process controls, documentation, operational governance, and reporting quality.

4. Governance, Controls & Compliance

  • Drive governance and compliance across SFCF, ICFR, audit, risk, and process control requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate control frameworks are maintained across O2C and TCM processes.
  • Oversee audit readiness, control evidence, compliance testing, risk reviews, and timely remediation of gaps.
  • Ensure teams perform assigned activities in compliance with company SOPs, GxP regulations where applicable, data integrity requirements, and internal policies.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors, FRA leadership, and control owners to support audits, reviews, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a strong risk-aware and compliance-focused culture across the team.

5. Transformation, Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead transformation and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, standardisation, quality, and scalability across O2C and TCM.
  • Identify and implement productivity improvements, process simplification, harmonisation, and best practices across countries and process areas.
  • Drive Centre of Excellence development for O2C and TCM capabilities within the GCC.
  • Use operational insights, KPI trends, RCA, and stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Sponsor and oversee projects that improve service delivery, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and enhance customer experience.
  • Promote digital mindset, continuous improvement, and innovation across the organisation.

6. Transition & Stabilisation Leadership

  • Lead and support transitions of O2C and TCM activities into the GCC, ensuring effective planning, knowledge transfer, documentation, training, risk mitigation, and operational readiness.
  • Partner with sending and receiving teams to ensure seamless transition execution and post-go-live stabilisation.
  • Ensure transition milestones, onboarding, access readiness, process documentation, training, and hypercare activities are managed effectively.
  • Build scalable operating models to support expanding scope across regions, countries, and process towers.
  • Maintain structured communication and governance with stakeholders during transition and stabilisation phases.

7. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a senior point of contact for O2C and TCM service delivery across GCC-supported countries and stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with Global FRA, Country FRA, Group Treasury, CFOs, commercial teams, process owners, auditors, and GCC leadership.
  • Provide timely updates on performance, risks, issues, transitions, control matters, and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are proactively managed and service delivery remains business-focused.
  • Represent GCC O2C and TCM in governance forums, operational reviews, leadership discussions, and transition meetings.

8. People Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, coach, and develop O2C and TCM managers, process leads, specialists, and team members.
  • Build a high-performing, collaborative, accountable, inclusive, and customer-focused team culture.
  • Define clear goals, priorities, performance expectations, and development plans for the team.
  • Ensure effective workforce planning, onboarding, cross-training, knowledge management, and succession planning.
  • Strengthen team capabilities in process knowledge, stakeholder management, controls, analytics, automation, and leadership.
  • Promote Sandoz values and behaviours through inclusive, proactive, respectful, and results-driven leadership.

What you’ll bring to the role: 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA Finance, CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Treasury, Finance Operations, or process excellence certifications would be an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, GCC, or Global Business Services environments.
  • Strong functional experience in Order to Cash and Treasury & Cash Management.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing large teams, multi-country operations, and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience in cash application, collections, credit, AR reporting, reconciliations, disputes, payments, cash forecasting, cash accounting, bank administration, treasury controls, and month-end close.
  • Strong experience in transitions, operational stabilisation, process transformation, standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, audit, SFCF/ICFR requirements, and risk management.
