About this Head Baker role at Belmond

We are looking for a talented and passionate Head Baker to lead our bakery production and help deliver exceptional quality across all guest dining experiences. Set on the breathtaking shores of Maundays Bay, Anguilla, Cap Juluca is a two Michelin Key (2025) resort and part of the LVMH family through Belmond.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled bakery professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and leading by example.
- Lead the daily production of breads, breakfast pastries, viennoiserie, and specialty baked goods
- Ensure exceptional quality, freshness, and presentation across all bakery items
- Organise bakery production in line with business levels and outlet needs
- Train and support junior team members through hands-on coaching
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Support cost control, stock management, and waste reduction initiatives
Requirements
- 3–5 years of bakery experience in a professional kitchen, hotel, or resort
- Strong technical skills in breads, laminated doughs, and breakfast bakery
- Previous senior bakery or supervisory experience preferred
- Passion for quality, consistency, and teamwork
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Food Handler’s Certification / Health Card
- Luxury hospitality experience is a plus
