We have an immediate opening for a creative and talented Hardware Engineer (Intermediate) to join our engineering group in Mississauga.

Specific Position Duties

Work as part of the Hardware Test Engineering team on activities associated with hardware test panel development for product test, verification, and aerospace certification.

Design/prototype/implement/test/documents circuits and signal processing subsystems as needed to satisfy requirements.

Support system verification and validation.

Document changes/analysis for new circuits or modifications.

Responsible for troubleshooting test bench systems when needed.

Support at customer meetings and design reviews and perform independent design and analysis of complex designs as required.

General maintenance of existing test bench systems.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications for Position

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

4 to 7 years of relevant engineering experience is required.

Good working knowledge of Circuit Design, PCB Design, Power Electronics and Signal Processing.

Excellent troubleshooting/debugging abilities.

Ability to solder and use diagnostics tools like Digital Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators.

Familiar with FPGAs / VHDL.

Familiar with microcontrollers and embedded C programming.

Familiar with PCB/CAD software.

Experience with PCB Design/Assembly.

Experience with Cables and Harness Design/Assembly.

Expertise in hardware design activities, pertaining to requirement definition and management, including requirements decomposition, requirements traceability.

Must be able to work in a team as well as independently.

Very strong oral and written communication skills.
