As a Guidewire Lead Developer - DataHub- Senior Associate, you will specialize in developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform, a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will design, code, and test software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organizations. You will leverage your skills to deliver impactful solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Guidewire Datahub, integration with Guidewire suite of applications and Conversion ETL tools
• SQL competence (query performance tuning, index management, etc.) and a grasp of database structure are required.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of at least one ETL tool (Informatica, Snowflake, SSIS, Talend, etc.)

Expertise with SQL queries, analytical services, reporting services
- Developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform to meet the specific needs of insurance organizations
- Designing, coding, and testing software solutions for policy administration, claims management, and billing processes
- Analyzing client needs to implement software solutions that optimize operational efficiency
- Providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications
- Navigating complex situations to deliver quality work and grow personal skills
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating the needs of teams and clients
- Utilizing Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter for effective software development and integration
- Upholding professional and technical standards while interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations
- Embracing change and using creativity to generate new ideas and solve problems

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 + years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

Demonstrates expert abilities and extensive Application Managed Service projects and  solutioning the Datahub integration with Guidewire Suite of applications on premises and SaaS, with proven success executing and supporting lead in all aspects of complex engagements within the Datahub application achieving on-time and on-budget delivery, as well as the following:

4+ years of experience as Senior Developer for Datahub and ETL tools
Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional data modeling

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Risk Management, Software App, Statistics
- At least one of the following: Guidewire and Scrum Master Certification
- Demonstrating proficiency in Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter Configuration
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret complex data for insights
- Excelling in software development methodologies and system development
- Building meaningful client connections through effective communication
- Navigating ambiguity with intellectual curiosity and learning agility
