Role Summary

The GL Fixed Assets Accountant supports fixed asset accounting activities, ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains compliance with accounting standards and collaborates with internal stakeholders to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Support fixed asset accounting processes and monthly reporting
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
• Support financial consolidation, audits, and fixed asset transactions
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and maintain process documentation
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects
   

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Basic knowledge of general accounting principles and financial processes
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS
• Experience with SAP (Fixed Asset module) or Oracle
• Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
• Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Fluent English and Hungarian (written and spoken)
