About this FP&A Analyst role at Moo

Moo · Hybrid · Cape Town, South Africa

MOO is all about making great design available to everyone. We do that by producing premium print and branded merchandise. But it’s as much about how we do it, leading with design, technology and sustainability.

Founded in 2004, we’ve come this far by being obsessed with the happiness of our customers.  Along the way, we’ve built an award-winning and much-loved brand, with exceptional customer satisfaction and Trustpilot ratings. Those customers are typically small and medium-sized businesses based in North America, the UK, and Europe – businesses that, like us, value design and see the brand-building power of putting something real in people’s hands.

We’ve received the highest business award in Britain, ‘The Queen’s Award for Enterprise’. Part of Tech Nation’s ‘Future Fifty’, we’ve been profiled in the Financial Times, and ranked in the Guardian’s top 10 UK start-ups.

Today we are over 350 people, headquartered in the UK but with many of our people based in the USA and South Africa.

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at MOO is at the heart of our financial decision-making, providing strategic insights that drive growth and performance. This role sits within a team of four, reporting into the Head of FP&A.

We’re looking for an FP&A Analyst who’s passionate about turning numbers into insight and insight into impact. This is a highly business-facing role, working closely with teams across the organisation to support decision-making and drive performance.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our forecasts and financial models up to date, ensuring they reflect the latest thinking in a fast-moving business. You’ll bring clarity to performance, helping teams understand what’s really driving the numbers and what that means for the business.

The Person We Want

You’re a curious, analytical finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You enjoy digging into the numbers, spotting trends, and helping others understand what’s really going on.
You’re confident working with data but just as comfortable working with non-financial teams. You know how to explain financial insights clearly and in a way that lands. A background in financial planning and analysis, along with business partnering experience, will set you up for success.

  • Demonstrable experience building and maintaining integrated financial models
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain the story behind the numbers clearly and confidently to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proactive and curious, with a questioning mindset — comfortable challenging assumptions, spotting opportunities, and helping teams make better decisions
  • Proficient in Google Workspace tools
  • Nice To Have's

  • Familiarity with Tableau or other analytical tools
