About this Forward Deployed Engineer - Palantir role at Conagra Brands
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and contribute to solution design across supply chain, trade, manufacturing, and finance.
- Develop, test, maintain, and improve data pipelines and transformations using Python, SQL, and PySpark within Palantir Foundry.
- Support the design and implementation of Ontology Objects, Links, Actions, and Interfaces that accurately represent business processes and data relationships.
- Build and support Workshop applications, artificial intelligence powered workflows, and operational data products that enable business users to make informed decisions.
- Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring solutions to help ensure trusted and reliable data assets.
- Troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and improve overall pipeline performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers to deliver scalable solutions and strengthen engineering best practices.
- Document solutions and support knowledge sharing to promote maintainability and operational excellence.
- Continuously develop expertise in Palantir Foundry, Ontology design, artificial intelligence capabilities, and business processes to solve increasingly complex business problems.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with SQL and Python.
- Experience building and supporting data pipelines and data transformations.
- Familiarity with PySpark or distributed data processing technologies.
- Understanding of data modeling fundamentals and data lifecycle concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting data issues and improving data pipeline reliability.
- Strong communication skills with experience translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curiosity for learning new technologies and business domains.
- Experience working in ambiguous environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry in a production environment preferred.
- Exposure to Ontology concepts, Workshops, operational applications, or similar data product frameworks preferred.
- Familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing, trade, finance, or consumer packaged goods business processes preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation
Pay Range:$73,600-$109,300The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
