About The Role - Te mahi

Are you passionate about creating great guest experiences and enjoy working in a hospitality environment? We are looking for a friendly, energetic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and wants to develop their skills within the hospitality industry. You’ll be part of a supportive team where you will help create memorable experiences for our guests through great service, teamwork and manaakitanga.

This is a permanent part-time (10 hours minimum guaranteed hours per week) based at Sudima Auckland Airport, with an hourly rate of $25.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Flexible and reliable, with availability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
• Create warm and memorable guest experiences through genuine, friendly and professional service.
• Work as part of a supportive and collaborative team, helping each other deliver outstanding hospitality.
• Prepare and maintain restaurant and service areas to a high standard, with a focus on organisation and sustainability.
• Welcome and seat guests, take orders and provide attentive, high-quality service.
• Assist with phone enquiries and in-room dining, ensuring every guest receives efficient and caring service.
• Handle guest accounts and payments with accuracy and integrity.
• Listen to guest feedback and resolve concerns with empathy and a positive attitude.
• Keep service areas clean, safe and organised while using resources responsibly.
• Be part of creating successful events, functions and conferences, supporting the wider team when needed.
