About this Finance Lead role at Adobe
The Opportunity
Join the Adobe Finance team and help define the future of how Finance operates, decides, and scales. This is not a traditional FP&A role. You will operate at the intersection of Finance, Strategy, and AI, crafting how a modern, data‑ and AI‑native Finance organization works. Your role includes defining and applying AI-enabled tools and contemporary data infrastructures such as LLMs, Databricks, and SQL/Python. These efforts will help improve scale, speed, insight quality, and decision advantage. Rather than automating legacy processes, you will help re‑architect workflows and decision frameworks, partnering on cross‑functional teams to build next‑generation Finance capabilities. If you are passionate about sophisticated modeling, complex data, and using AI to transform decision‑making—not just processes—this role puts you at the forefront of the industry.
What You Will Do
- Drive Scalable, AI‑Forward FP&A: redesign core FP&A workflows using intelligent technologies and sophisticated data infrastructures to reduce manual effort, accelerate insight generation, and unlock new analytical capabilities.
- Navigate complex data ecosystems from multiple sources like CRM, ERP, billing, and product usage. Identify, prioritize, and develop AI and advanced analytics use cases. These use cases deliver measurable business value within Finance and broader enterprise decision-making.
- AI Change Agent: Serve as a leader with a point of view and change agent, helping Finance evolve from reporting‑centric to decision‑centric operating models.
- Partner with Senior Leadership: Act as a trusted finance partner to Product and Sales teams. Bridge long-term strategy with near-term execution. Represent Finance AI priorities in cross-functional forums and with executive leadership. Clearly communicate progress, risks, tradeoffs, and strategic direction.
What You Need to Be Successful
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Financial Analytics, or related roles; enterprise software experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Data Analysis, or a closely related area; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- Demonstrated experience transforming Finance workflows using AI‑enabled tools or advanced analytics platforms (e.g., LLMs, Databricks, custom analytics solutions).
- Hands‑on experience manipulating large datasets using SQL and/or Python; experience with modern data platforms a strong plus.
- Strong foundation in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis, with comfort operating under ambiguity.
- Creative, structured problem solver who challenges the status quo and drives new ways of thinking across Finance and the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior and executive audiences through clear narratives and visualizations.
